Health & Wellbeing Policy ISO 45003
Purpose & scope
This policy applies across all BSafe Group operations in Belgium, Europe, Asia, the USA and other regions where we operate. It sets out our commitment to protecting and enhancing the psychological health, safety and wellbeing of employees, contractors and stakeholders. It addresses work design, organisational culture and support systems that influence mental health and quality of life, ensuring alignment with ISO 45003 standards.
Policy statement
BSafe Group is committed to fostering a safe, respectful and supportive work environment where mental health is prioritised alongside physical safety. We aim to identify and prevent psychosocial risks, promote positive wellbeing and support work-life balance. Our wellbeing framework includes flexible working arrangements, stress management initiatives, regular awareness campaigns and access to confidential Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). We believe open communication and early intervention are key to maintaining a healthy workforce.
Objectives
3.1 Identify and address workplace stressors through proactive risk assessments.
3.2 Provide training on mental health awareness, coping strategies and resilience.
3.3 Offer access to professional support services, including counselling.
3.4 Encourage open dialogue on mental wellbeing without stigma or discrimination.
3.5 Promote professional growth and personal resilience through targeted development programs.
Responsibilities
- Management: Lead by example, integrate wellbeing into strategic planning and allocate necessary resources.
- Supervisors: Recognise early signs of stress, provide guidance and encourage work-life balance.
- Employees: Engage in wellbeing programs, respect others’ needs and use available resources.
Review
This policy will be reviewed annually or following major wellbeing program evaluations to ensure effectiveness, alignment with ISO 45003 and responsiveness to employee needs.
