Purpose & scope
This policy affirms BSafe Group’s dedication to safeguarding the physical and mental health of employees, contractors and stakeholders across Belgium, Europe, Asia, the USA and other global operations. It applies to all business divisions, project sites and operational facilities where BSafe Group has direct or indirect control. The policy covers all activities, from office-based functions to high-risk field operations.
Policy statement
BSafe Group recognises that a healthy workforce is the foundation of productivity, resilience and operational excellence. Guided by the principles of ISO 45001, we are committed to preventing occupational illnesses, actively identifying and mitigating health risks and embedding a culture of wellness across the organisation. Our approach includes medical surveillance for designated roles, proactive workplace health programs and targeted training to ensure safe and healthy working conditions for all.
Objectives
3.1 Prevent occupational diseases through systematic hazard identification, risk assessment and control measures.
3.2 Promote workplace wellness programs encouraging physical activity, healthy eating and mental wellbeing.
3.3 Ensure periodic health screenings and medical evaluations for at-risk job functions.
3.4 Engage employees in awareness campaigns and initiatives fostering health-conscious behaviour.
3.5 Comply with applicable health regulations and ISO 45001 standards at all locations.
Responsibilities
- Management: Allocate resources, set measurable health objectives and oversee compliance with applicable standards.
- Supervisors: Monitor workplace health conditions, encourage program participation and address potential health risks.
- Employees: Adhere to health guidelines, participate in wellness initiatives and promptly report any health concerns.
Review
This policy will be formally reviewed annually, or sooner if changes in legislation, operational needs, or organisational circumstances occur.
