Energy Policy ISO 50001
Purpose & scope
This policy applies to all BSafe Group operations, offices and project sites across Belgium, Europe, Asia, the USA and other global markets. It establishes our commitment to improving energy performance, reducing consumption and promoting sustainable practices in line with ISO 50001 standards. It covers energy use in buildings, equipment, transportation and project delivery processes.
Policy statement
BSafe Group is committed to minimising environmental impact through responsible energy management. We will measure, monitor and optimise energy use, implement energy-efficient technologies and integrate renewable energy solutions where practical. Our goal is to achieve measurable reductions in energy consumption while supporting operational excellence.
Objectives
3.1 Conduct annual energy audits to identify efficiency opportunities.
3.2 Optimise energy use in all facilities, equipment and transport operations.
3.3 Promote energy efficiency awareness among all employees.
3.4 Incorporate energy performance criteria into procurement and design processes.
3.5 Set and monitor measurable targets for energy reduction.
Responsibilities
- Management: Provide resources, set energy performance goals and ensure compliance with ISO 50001.
- Supervisors: Monitor energy usage, identify inefficiencies and encourage energy-conscious behaviour.
- Employees: Use equipment efficiently, follow energy-saving guidelines and report wastage.
Review
This policy will be reviewed annually, or sooner if operational or regulatory changes occur, to ensure alignment with ISO 50001 standards and continuous performance improvement.
